Happy New Year!!
It has been a while since the last update at Christmas time, sorry about that. We went away and then got too much in to the lazy holiday mode and I just didn't do any updates.
We we got back from our 7 night holiday to Tasmania, Dave was excited to finish laying the blackbutt floor in the hallway/kitchen/dining area.
So now that is finally all done, except for the room that was the old nursery that will become the new laundry room (can't believe that I will actually have a room dedicated to laundry). I don't have a picture of the whole thing finished but you get the idea. It looks so different, so big and so light.
The laundry will have to wait until the plumbing has been installed. We will need new water pipes and sewage pipes for the washing machine and sink. But that should be too much of a drama as in the other side of the wall where the washer will be is the bathroom sink. Famous last words, eek!

Wow!!! That looks so beautiful! Well done Hubby. You must be tickled pink with the change.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elisabeth and it will look even better once it is sanded and finished. He did work very hard and was so over it at one stage he almost threw in the towel :)
